Kanabend/Before the click

This page belongs to kanabend.com. What the service does is set out below.

The visit starts after the buyer has already asked a question.

A store can log the arrival without holding on to the question and the answer that came first. One public product page is enough to build a bounded report of that earlier moment.

  1. Question askedA shopper puts a buying question to an AI assistant, in their own words, before any store is opened.
  2. Answer returnedThe assistant answers in wording of its own choosing, naming whatever it names that day.
  3. Page may be visitedA visit may follow, or it may not. That is where an ordinary log begins.

Sequence illustration only. The report does not claim that an observed answer produced a visit.

What arrives in the report

The unbranded buyer question
Put the way a shopper puts it, naming a category and not your product.
The direct product question
The same product asked about by name, so the two answers can be read side by side.
The returned wording
What came back, in full, in the words it came back in.
The visible product and link state
Whether the product, store or page was named, and what destination was visible, on the day it ran.

A usable report begins with the words, not with an estimated score.

The line this page will not cross: nothing is concluded about what any buyer went on to do. One question on one day, about one product, does not support that and is not offered as if it did.

Start with one product on the buyer route

What the route touches on your side

  1. The product-page address you share is already public. Shoppers reach it from the store every day, so handing it over here discloses nothing at all.
  2. Beyond that address, nothing. No installation, no admin credentials, no analytics connection, no customer or order record, no password and no token.
  3. An email address comes second. After the page is confirmed you leave an email address, because a report with nowhere to arrive is no use to anybody.
  4. What runs. The route is short. One public page is read, two questions are put a single time, and the report travels back to your inbox with the date.
  5. Started from the wrong page. Replace the address and the route begins again from the new one, after you have confirmed it.

The two questions above are the whole of it. There is no second stage that asks for more, and no part of this needs anything from inside the store.

Use the page for one specific product, the address a shopper opens to buy it.

After the first route

The first report is prepared at no charge, so the quality of the evidence can be judged before anything else is agreed. If it is worth having, a set of products you choose can be run the same way as fixed-scope work.

What is collected on the route

In force from August 13, 2026.

This notice sets out what Kanabend takes in at kanabend.com, what it does with it, and what you can ask for.

What is taken in

The product-page address you enter and the email address you enter. Also the routine technical details every browser sends with a request, among them the IP address, the browser identification and the time, which are written to server logs.

The session

Opening a page and then submitting it are two halves of one request. The two endpoints set one same-domain session cookie, PHPSESSID, marked Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax, to hold the halves together. No other cookie is set, and no advertising or profiling cookie is set anywhere on this site.

What it is for

To prepare the report you asked for and send it to you, to reply to anything you write, to run and protect the site, and to improve the service and the messages sent. Related messages about the service may also go out, and writing to contact@kanabend.com stops those.

Who else handles it

Suppliers handling hosting, page rendering, storage, automation, security and email delivery may process it on our behalf, and so may anyone the law obliges us to disclose it to. Your email address is not published.

How long

As long as the uses above still call for it, and as long as the law requires it to be kept.

Asking us

Write to contact@kanabend.com to ask what is held or to stop the messages. This notice can be revised, and the date at the top marks the version in force.

Returning a payment

In force from August 13, 2026.

Paid work from Kanabend is refundable in full for 30 days after payment. Ask by writing to contact@kanabend.com inside those 30 days, quoting the order or payment reference. Never send card numbers by email. The first report is prepared without payment, so nothing arises to refund on it.

What you agree to

In force from August 13, 2026.

These terms govern kanabend.com and any report prepared through it.

The service

Kanabend asks an AI assistant about one public product page and sends what came back, the question used and the date to the email address you give. It says nothing about how a product page performs in search. The report describes what was seen on that day. It carries no promise about ranking, placement, traffic, revenue or any later outcome.

Your side

That the address you submit is a public product page you are entitled to pass on, and that the site is not used for anything unlawful.

Alterations

The service may be altered or paused at any point. Questions about these terms go to contact@kanabend.com.
